The kids chose out their outfits, put on their Air Jordan shoes, and were ready for their first day of school, which was actually at the end of August this year! Bentley is in Grade 4 and got Mrs. Sheen as her teacher this year. She is also her piano teacher so it's nice that we already knew and liked her! Violet is in her class again, along with many more of her friends. Deacon is in the combined Grade 2 class with Mrs. Bilotta and Mrs. Hinton. Obviously he has all his friends with him since it's a combined class. They usually spend a lot of time outside, which Deacon doesn't mind at all. Leo is in Kindergarten this year! After a lot of thought and interviews with the RDL teacher, we decided to keep him at Renfrew for one more year where they know him and his learning plan, and where he gets the most support. He is in the Clover class with teacher Tom, and continues to take the bus to school (with our favorite bus driver, Sarah). Boston is my sidekick! Also, the last photos are what Bentley wanted to wear to school on the first day, but unfortunately it wasn't warm enough!
