Boston's 5th Birthday Party

We were in Arizona for Boston's actual birthday, but we did still throw him a party with his friends on Apr.14. He loves Lego more than anything, so that was the theme. I threw together a fun, blue Lego cake, which made him so happy. We had his friend Parker from preschool come, as well as Jack, Tara, and Blake. Arthur was invited, but wasn't able to make it. The kids made little animal Legos, had a treasure hunt for big Lego pieces, and did a spool relay race trying to transfer Legos to a different bowl as fast as they could. We had pizza and cake and had a hard time not opening up the Lego right away that he got as a present!
Boston is the best kid ever...I feel super blessed to have him. I give him probably 50 kisses a day and am constantly amazed and entertained by the things he says that are way wiser than his years. He is hilarious and smart and tries to keep up with his brothers in their wrestling matches, which he usually end up dominating. He loves stories, cooking, and cuddling with me. He is so good at keeping himself entertained and we all love him to pieces!

Leo's Baptism

Leo was baptized on Apr.12, 2026. It was an amazing day filled with so much love, my heart felt like it was gonna burst!! We have such an amazing support system of family and friends and I couldn't be more grateful.
Leo started the day by bearing his testimony at church for the first time. Deacon suggested it and then he was determined! After church Leo put a count down on the kitchen timer until it was time to leave for the baptism.
When we got there, I had lots of help setting up and getting everything ready. The baptism went great and Leo was baptized by Jeff of course. Rick Nielson gave the baptism talk and Cindy Ady gave the Holy Ghost talk. Don also gave him a compass with a little message. I threw together a little number with a bunch of the cousins singing Gethsemane. Then we had a candy bar at the back of the room. We invited some friends as well as family, so we thought it'd be nice to have something for them. Leo was obsessed with it of course!
Then the family all headed back to our house for dinner. We had a Costa Vida style meal, with help from family bringing some of the sides. For dessert, we had brownies and ice cream, with lots of toppings.
It was all very successful and Leo had a great time! He did well memorizing the promises we make at baptism and the blessings we will receive in return. We read him a book about it all and made sure he knew what it meant. We couldn't be happier he decided to follow Christ's example and be baptized!
As usual, I had a photo shoot done beforehand at the temple with his new scriptures. I adore the way the photos turned out! He thought it was pretty cool that a bunny showed up for the photos too.
