March

March was a really great month, filled with so many things! We started off with a couple of hockey games. Jeff's work decided to buy season passes to the Flame's games, so we took advantage. The first time we took Tamara and Lee with us, and the next time we took Bentley and Deacon. Both different experiences, but both lots of fun! Bentley liked watching the actual hockey game more than I thought she would, but we all equally enjoyed the malts and treats. It was a pretty long, chilly walk both nights, but other than that a great time!

Jeff decided to take Bentley out to something she might like, since she had mentioned that he always does boy things with Deacon and nothing with her! So, they went to see Shen Yun, which is a Chinese dance type show. They had a great time and coincidentally happened to be sitting right in front of Angie Locking and her Dad.

The kids have been enjoying all of their extra-curricular activities. I put Leo in a Sport Ball class this winter with Lena's little boy, Gus. Leo hasn't done very many sports or classes, so I was feeling bad and thought it might be good for him. He had a lot of fun and especially loved hanging out with Gus each week! They became great friends.
Deacon's bow river basketball came to an end and he was devastated. He loved his team and coach so much! He definitely has a passion for basketball and always wanted to stay after it was over to keep practicing. His coach was a former high school coach, and was unbelievable. He really put his heart and soul into coaching and turned the boys into such better players!
Bentley is enjoying activity days with the 8-11 year old girls at church. She's had some fun activities and loves hanging out with Jade especially. Here's a picture of when they did some hair braiding.

Lately we had been slacking on Family Home Evening, and even lost the habit of doing Come Follow Me. We know these things are super important so we started it back up again. We don't always need to have a big activity because the lesson is really the important part, but the kids sure love when there's a fun activity, and it makes lots of memories of family time together. Recently we have had a make your own pizza night, slime making, and puzzle night.

Lately I've been having a lot of fun with our Bachelor Girl's night group! Rebecca and Sophie both have new babies they always bring and pass around. We also tried out a new ice treat place in Legacy, which was really good! We had a play date at Meghan's house as well, and Leo loved seeing Sophie's baby Leo, and thought it was amazing they had the same name. He also loved playing with Hunter.
I've also gotten back into working out and got a membership at Gymvmt becasue they have babysitting and classes. One time Leo and Boston brought all the stuffies with them and everyone thought they were the cutest.

St. Patrick's Day wasn't a big holiday, but we did celebrate by wearing green and getting more Glazed and Dazed donuts!

The other big event's in March were Leo's birthday party and Jeff and I going to Vegas to see Taylor Swift. I will put those in separate posts!
