Leo's 5th Birthday Party

Leo is always so ready for a birthday party to be about him after going through Bentley and Deacon's parties. This year he decided he wanted a dinosaur party! He requested certain activities and a cake and presents so we made sure we did all of those things. We had both grandparents there, Brent and Bailey, Haley and Brett with Clara and Hayes, and Lena and Jarren and family (including Gus). Scott and Kellie couldn't make it. I was worried it'd be too many people, but it actually turned out perfect! We had pulled pork sandwiches with a bunch of sides and there was plenty to go around. Then we made Leo's dreams come true by doing a volcano activity, hatching dino eggs with baking soda and vinegar, and finally painting dino eggs. Then we had cake and presents and Leo brought the entertainment with his screams of excitement! He's seriously the cutest person to watch open presents. Jeff and Bentley gave him the best present of a case of copy paper and he loved it, even though everyone else thought it was bizarre! Leo loves doing crafts and drawing on paper and always uses ours up so fast.

We all love Leo to death. He is pure and innocent, and up for anything fun all the time! He gets the most excited out of any kid I know, so he is very easy to spoil. He has a mind of his own and rolls to the beat of his own drum. He love play doh, crafts, paint, or really anything messy. He also loves swimming, playing at the park, and all the fun things he does at school. He's the first to polish off his dinner, no matter what it is. Leo is the best cuddler too, and even though he only goes to bed with someone by his side, after he's completed all the necessary tasks before he can go to sleep, we just love him so much! Happy 5th birthday to our sweet boy!!
