Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, ONEderful Is What You Are!
Boston turned 1 on April.1st and I couldn't even believe it! We threw a party for him with a simple twinkle twinkle little star theme and Bentley helped me tape stars all over the walls. I had fun making the balloon arch as well. We had a great day with family eating pulled pork and cake, watching Boston "open" presents, and then going glow-in-the-dark bowling together. We had family from both sides come for dinner, but only the Nielson side could come for bowling. I made a fun cupcake cake and Boston was unsure of it at first, but then decided he liked it. It was a really nice excuse to all get together!
Boston is the sweetest little guy with so much personality these days! He has this adorable, contagious smile he loves to flash at you that I can never get a picture of, but it's the cutest thing. He's been standing on his own for a while now (and loves to show off that he can get up on his own in the middle of the floor), but just barely took his first steps on his birthday! How cool that his birthday was the very day he decided to walk. He just barely stopped nursing completely and really loves cows milk. He also loves most any food! His babbles are the cutest and we all really love to make him giggle. Happy birthday Boss Baby, our forever baby!
He also got his first haircut shortly after his birthday and did so good! He didn't love it but he held still and never cried...the hairdresser was quite impressed.
