Bentley also started dance again. I have to say, I almost pulled her out because it was a big struggle to get her to put on her tights and shoes. She kept saying they were too tight and one day we ended up missing it because of her tantrum. However, after a lot of talking it over and some help from Daddy, she eventually realized that is wasn't so bad and they fit perfectly. She now loves dance and hanging out with her friends while she's there! Lucy Bennett is in her class again, along with a couple other friends named Cecelia and Sophia.
We also started up Play School at our house again. There are nine other kids that come and each week we take turns teaching about a letter. It is so fun to see all the kids play and learn, and also catch up with the other moms! Seriously, best thing I ever decided to create. Everyone does such a good job when it's their turn, and it only comes around to me again every 9 weeks! Here's a few photos, out of the hundreds that have been taken.
I also put both kids in swimming lessons. I take Deacon while Bentley is at school, and Bentley had hers in the evening so I could take her and leave Deacon with Jeff. Bentley just passed Preschool 1 at the Okotoks pool and did so good! I was so surprised at how brave she has gotten in the water, and even put her face in the water. She did whatever her teacher asked her to do. Deacon is a handful at his swim lesson, because he mostly just wants to go down the slide the whole time or play on his own in the bubbles, but he is doing a lot better than in the past, but is still a little nervous on his own in a life jacket. He is great at dunking and splashing though!
Well, between all of these activities and still finding time to clean and cook, and chase Deacon around, I'm kept pretty busy. Not a lot of time for myself these days, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We also love hitting up some drop-in gymnastics classes and visiting with friends and family. I love being busy, and I absolutely hate staying home for too long!!
Bentley also went to the dentist for the first time and was such a little angel. They managed to do a polish and fluoride along with her checkup. She had no cavities and loved the prize at the end!
