I'm nearing the end of this pregnancy and let me just say that this baby cannot come soon enough!! I've never felt more done with being pregnant. This time around I honestly just have no energy left and find it so hard to accomplish even just simple, everyday tasks. Obviously I know that I will be exhausted taking care of a newborn too, but I just feel ready to move on to that. My back is aching, I get up to pee 5 times a night, and whenever I stand up I have pain. My due date is 2 weeks from today (Mar.29), but I'm hoping he will come at least one week early like the last two did. Being pregnant in a pandemic was hard physically and emotionally, and I think there were just so many less distractions to get me by, and I'm a little nervous how things will go in the hospital. I'm also nervous I may not make it in time for an epidural, and I even worry I'll end up having the baby in the car or something! Anyways, hopefully everything will go well!! I can't wait to hold a new, sweet baby in my arms.
I decided to get some maternity shots done by my friend Jennie Guenard and she did a fabulous job! We are 99.9% sure this will be our last baby and the last time I'll be pregnant so I thought it'd be nice to have these to remember pregnancy. I have never loved being pregnant, but it is a pretty amazing thing if you think about it! I'm in love with the pictures by the ice caves in fish creek. Such a simple location, but it looked so cool, and the outfits turned out perfect. The kids were freezing and I felt bad making them take off their coats for pictures, but it was totally worth it! And nothing a little hot chocolate can't make better.
