Baby Shower

It's getting very close to my due date and Jeff and I are getting more and more excited! Over the last couple of weeks I've been getting everything ready and it's been really nice to start maternity leave. I have some great friends who threw me a baby shower to get me started and it was a great time. Thank you Sarah and Melissa, and also Leslie for hosting it! Here's a few pics...the food and decorations were pretty darn adorable!

I really enjoyed this night and loved opening so many cute things for our little girl! Thank you to everyone who came :). There was also a list made of guesses on the birth date and weight of our baby...so here it is. Some of these guesses are coming up quick! It's pretty crazy.

 After the shower, I went shopping with my mom for everything else I would need and I finally feel prepared! It's been really fun getting the baby's room ready!! Jeff and I also got a chance to go to a couple prenatal classes. I was worried Jeff would just make fun of everything the whole time, but he was actually a really good sport about it and the class was better than I imagined. We had lots of fun at these classes and feel even more prepared now! As for a name...we have 2 in mind and are waiting for the baby to come to get some inspiration on the final decision. I'm feeling big right now, of course, but I can't complain about my pregnancy at all. Besides finding it difficult to bend over to put my shoes on, I haven't had any major issues. The only thing the doctor kept telling me was that I wasn't gaining much weight and to eat more fried chicken and peanut butter type foods! Not a bad request. So things have been great and I just hope everything goes well with the delivery. I feel very blessed and look forward to the day she decides to arrive :)
